The practice that became MORRISON CPA Professional Corporation was started by Susan Morrison in 1994. Paul became partner in 2019. Susan and Paul have trained the staff to become expert and thorough advisors to assist clients in navigating the complex world of bookkeeping, accounting and tax. They are adept at translating complicated concepts for clients to enable better decision making. Each staff person has areas of depth that they focus on and participate in professional development regularly. Susan Morrison, CPA, CA
Susan Morrison is a legacy Chartered Professional Accountant. Susan has a license to practice public accounting and has been a member of CPA Canada and CPA Ontario since 1991. She is also a member of CPA Alberta. After earning her honours Bachelor of Business Administration with co-op from Wilfrid Laurier University, she trained in multiple offices of a national firm. Susan currently enjoys membership with the Barrie Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Owner’s Network, and the Simcoe County Estate Planning Council. She is an active member of BNI Business Elite in Bradford and has served on the boards of various charities. She enjoys making presentations for local chamber groups, construction associations, colleges and is a regular speaker at conferences for the Association of Ontario Midwives.
Paul Morrison, CPA, CA
Paul has been with the firm since May 2014, after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Laurentian University. Paul achieved his CPA, CA in March 2018 after completing his student tenure with Morrison CPA. Paul’s areas of expertise are Audit and Assurance, Estate Planning, Corporate Restructuring, and Corporate Tax.
Leanne has been working with the firm since February 2006, bringing with her extensive experience in customer service and administration. Leanne keeps everyone organized while working in an administrative capacity and is likely the person you talk to when you call in. She also assists in the preparation of personal tax returns.
Ruth has been working with MORRISON CPA since January 2021, bringing with her customer service and administration experience. Ruth is one our Customer Excellence Coordinators who manages the office workflow so we client expectations. She also assists in the preparation of personal tax returns.

Assurance & Accounting Technician
Rebekah joined our team in January 2021. She graduated from Guelph University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce. She recently passed her CFE exams for her CPA designation. Rebekah is responsible for many reviews, audit of not-for-profit organizations and compilations. Rebekah prepares corporate, partnership and personal tax returns. She is proficient in Excel, QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
Martha has been with the firm since March 2006. She brings over 30 years of experience in the accounting field, after graduating with honours from Georgian College. Martha's area of expertise is with Midwifery Practices and Midwives. Martha prepares charitable, corporate, partnership and personal tax returns. Over the years, she has built strong relationships with many of our clients. Martha is a QuickBooks Advisor, has attained QB Online Certification and is very effective at training clients. Over the years, she has built strong relationships with many of our clients.
Bill has been with the company since the start of 2014. He has focused exclusively on tax accounting for the past few years. He has experience in small business, having established Rivendell Books with his wife, Wendy. Prior to that, Bill had a 28-year career with the large multi-national media and print company, Quebecor, where he held a variety of management roles. Bill’s accounting experience comes from his business background, his understanding of what is involved in the self-employment sector, as well as a number of years of enrollment in the Certified General Accounting program and a variety of seminars and work groups.
Christa-Lea Evans, BBA
Christa-Lea joined our team in September 2014. She graduated with honours from Laurentian University in April 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in accounting. She has over 15 years’ experience in preparation of personal tax returns and over 10 years’ experience in corporate year-ends and financial statements. Christa-Lea provides bookkeeping services for some of our clients, enabling them to keep their books well-organized and up-to-date during the tax year. She is proficient in Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, and QuickBooks Online, and is very effective at training clients. She is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and has attained her QuickBooks Online Certification. Christa-Lea has found that sharing her knowledge in accounting with our clients has enabled them to be confident business owners.
Bookkeeping / Tax Preparer
Carolyn has been working with the firm since December 2016; her area of depth is bookkeeping. Efficient in both Sage and QuickBooks, she helps keep clients current and up-to-date in all their record keeping. Carolyn is responsible for accurate data entry and completes monthly payroll remittances, quarterly WSIB premium remittances, and monthly, quarterly, and annual HST returns for several clients of various business types.
Jacob recently joined our team in January 2020 after doing several co-op terms with us. He graduated from Georgian College with a Business Accounting diploma and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business with the goal of becoming a CPA. Jacob’s experience is primarily in preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, tax slips, and bookkeeping.
Noah Van Kesteren
Jennifer joined our team in October 2020. She graduated from Laurentian University with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce. Jennifer is currently pursuing her Chartered Professional Accountant designation. She passed the CPA Common Final Examination in September 2021 and will be a fully licensed CPA in the Summer 2022. Jennifer started her accounting career at a large manufacturing company, moved to municipal government until she found public accounting. At Morrison CPA, Jennifer prepares audit, review and compilation engagements as well as corporate tax returns.
Luke has recently joined our team in July 2021. He graduated from Guelph University with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a focus in accounting. Luke's area of depth is reviews, and compilations. Luke prepares charitable, corporate, partnership and personal tax returns.
Chris's primary focus is preparation of personal tax returns, T4s and T5s and she joined the firm in 2016.
