  • MORRISON CPA Professional Corporation was started by Susan Morrison in 1994 as a sole proprietorship. The practice, located in Innisfil, quickly grew and now includes several staff.
    Susan has trained her staff to become expert and thorough advisors to assist clients in navigating the complex world of bookkeeping, accounting and tax.  They are adept at translating complicated concepts for clients to enable better decision making.  Each staff person has areas of depth that they focus on and participate in professional development regularly.   The firm has been accredited for training CPA students.
    The team works with a variety of business owners and individuals with both personal and corporate tax planning, structuring issues and compliance requirements.  MORRISON CPA Professional Corporation is licensed to provide financial statement reports including compilations, reviews and not for profit audits.

    Susan Morrison is a Chartered Public Accountant. Susan has been a member of CPA Canada (formerly CICA) and CPA Ontario (formerly ICAO) since 1991.  After graduating with Honours from the Bachelor of Business Administration program with co-op from Wilfrid Laurier University, she trained in multiple offices of a national firm.   Susan currently enjoys membership with the Innisfil Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Owner’s Network, and the Simcoe County Estate Planning Council. She is an active member of BNI Business Elite in Bradford and has served on the Board of various charities.  She enjoys making presentations for local chamber groups, construction associations, colleges and is a regular speaker at conferences for the Association of Ontario Midwives.  Susan is currently writing regularly for the AOM Benefits Trust for their ‘Ask the Expert’ feature.   
    Susan and her husband Liam live in Innisfil with their four children.

  • Leanne Wideman

    Leanne has been working with the firm since February 2006, bringing with her extensive experience in customer service and administration.  Leanne keeps everyone organized while working in an administrative capacity and is likely the person you talk to when you call in.    She also assists in the preparation of personal tax returns.

  • Martha Tersigni

    Martha has been with the firm since March 2006.  She brings with her 28 years of extensive experience in the accounting field, after graduating with honours from Georgian College.   Martha's area of depth is review, audit of not-for-profit organizations and compilations.  She also specializes in Midwifery Practices.  Martha prepares charitable, corporate, partnership and personal tax returns.  Martha is a QuickBooks Advisor, has attained  QB Online Certification and is very effective at training clients.  Over the years, she has built strong relationships with many of our clients. 

  • Paul Morrison, BComm

    Paul has been working on and off with us since August 2010.  After graduating with honours in April 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Laurentian University, Paul is now beginning the process of becoming a CPA. Paul prepares personal tax returns, corporate year-ends, and financial statements.  Paul's area of depth is compilation of professional corporation groups and audit of charitable organizations.

  • Bill Cahill

    Bill has been with the company since the start of 2014.  He has focused exclusively on tax accounting for the past few years.  He has experience in small business, having established Rivendell Books with his wife, Wendy.  Prior to that, Bill had a 28-year career with the large multi-national media and print company, Quebecor, where he held a variety of management roles. Bill’s accounting experience comes from his business background, his understanding of what is involved in the self-employment sector, as well as a number of years of enrollment in the Certified General Accounting program and a variety of seminars and work groups.

    Christa-Lea joined our team in September 2014.  She graduated with honours from Laurentian University in April 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in accounting.  Christa-Lea provides bookkeeping services for some of our clients, enabling them to keep their books well-organized and up-to-date.  She also prepares personal tax returns, corporate year-ends and financial statements.

  • Kaitlin Soper

    Kaitlin has been working with the firm since August 2015; her area of depth is bookkeeping.  Efficient in both Sage and QuickBooks, she helps keep clients current and up-to-date in all their record keeping.  Kaitlin is responsible for accurate data entry and completes monthly payroll remittances, quarterly WSIB premium remittances, and monthly, quarterly, and annual HST returns for several clients of various business types.

    Andrew has recently joined our team in January 2017.  He is working towards graduating from York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a focus in accounting.  Andrew prepares tax returns for our clients, enabling them to keep their personal finances well-organized and up-to-date.
